Class 10 Mock Parliament (Debate session)
Our students of class 9-12 initiated a Mock Parliament session in the school on the topic ‘Environmental impacts of tourism’. The students divided into ruling and opposition ministers minutely discussed the pros and cons of tourism on environment of our country. The discussion was not only limited to debate of arguments but also culminated in the production of excellent recommendations and innovative suggestions to deal with the dangers of negatives of tourism on our flora and fauna. The session is a wonderful move to ignite young minds towards tourism and also to raise their consciousness.
Class 11 Excursion to Almora
Almora, located on a ridge at the southern edge of the Kumaon Hills of the Himalaya range was explored by our students of class 11. Along with Almora, Binsar, Jageshwar and Nainital was also visited during the 3 days long trip. The students not only enjoyed adventure but also had a relaxing time in the lap of nature. The students enjoyed many activities like visit to Jageshwar Dham temple, trip to Binsar forest and also trekking to Zero Point. The trip was planned as a part of experiential learning and to bring students in close proximity with nature. It was thoroughly enjoyed by the students as a relief from exam stress.

Class 7 to 9 Excursion to Rurban resort
Rurban Resort, set in the heart of the city Ghaziabad, is committed towards tourism with environment protection initiatives and promotion of rural tourism. It has its own organic farming, organic jaggery production unit, all plants and trees are irrigated via drip irrigation, partial energy is through solar power units. The students of class 7 to 9 visited the resort as day-outing and enjoyed adventure amidst the lap of nature. The trip was planned as a part of experiential learning and to support rural tourism. It was thoroughly enjoyed by the students as a relief from exam stress and they also cherished rural setting of Rurban resort.
