SCHOOL RULES

1. Every student must be in proper School uniform and carry his/her School Almanac and Identity Card to school, everyday.
2. The student should affix his/her photograph and write the required information, duly signed by parents, in the space provided for, in the almanac.
3. Students who come to school on their own should report to school 10 minutes before the start of the school. Those who come late to School will be sent back home.
4. Moving from one classroom to another should be done silently and in an orderly manner.
5. Parents and Guardians of all students should visit the school on the scheduled day to note the progress of their ward. This is compulsory.
6. Students are not allowed to bring mobile phone to school. Strict action will be taken against any child found in possession of mobile phones Students are not allowed to wear expensive wrist watches / jewellery /fancy hairbands / clips / bangles etc.
7. Students are not allowed to use the school telephone without the permission of the Receptionist. They will not be called to answer phone calls during class hours.
8. Students are expected to take care of all school property. Desks/Chairs should not be damaged or scratched and writing or drawing on the walls will result in serving disciplinary action against the concerned students.
9. DPS provides education from Nursery to class XII. Therefore, it is expected that the juniors be treated with love and affection, while juniors show all respect to their seniors.
10. No books(other than text books or library books), magazines or paper should be brought to the school.
11. Fees can be paid by cheque/draft/cash within the stipulated time.
12. DPS Students should be polite and courteous with everyone and everywhere. They should be friendly with others in and out of the school. There should be no vulgarity and obscenity in their talk and behavior. They should know that cruelty is the trait of a bully while kindness is the mark of a gentleperson. They should always remember that the students behave in a manner, which brings a good name to the school, and not indulge in any anti-social activity. Bullying and the use of foul language is strictly prohibited and is a punishable offence.
13. Exploding of crackers or splashing of colour during Diwali/Holi or any other occasion in the school premises or in the school buses is strictly forbidden. Strict action will be taken against student who do not comply with this instruction.
14. A permission card signed by the teacher(incharge of a period) must be carried by a child going to the clinic for treatment.
15. Students should feel privileged to attend functions celebrated in school. Except serious medical grounds, no other cause will be accepted, if a student is absent from school functions.
16. Canteen facility is only available in break time. If there is an emergency, children can avail of this facility with the concerned teacher’s card(permission slip).
17. Students are required to attend all functions / Saturday Classes in proper School Uniform. Wearing of coloured clothes is strictly prohibited.
18. Students are not supposed to miss any teaching/Games/Library period.
19. Parents must check and sign the School Diary everyday.
20. Students should be proud of their school and feel honored in singing DPS Song and the National Anthem.
21. Parents are requested to refrain from taking the students with them before School gets over as this hampers their studies.

  • White half sleeved shirt with red checks.
  • Short trousers with white and red checks.
  • White socks with red bands.
  • Black leather shoes with laces or straps.

Summer Uniform for Girls(Nursery / Prep)

  • White half sleeved shirt with red checks.
  • Tunic with white and red checks.
  • White socks with red bands.
  • Black leather shoes with laces or straps.

Summer Uniform for Boys(Classes I-XII)

  • White half-sleeved shirt, with the school emblem on the shirt pocket.
  • White vest should always be worn under the shirt.
  • White shorts(not more than 2 or 3"above the knees)for classes I to VI.
  • White straight regular trousers- Classes VII to XII.
  • Bottle green school tie.
  • Bottle green belt with scholl emblem.
  • White socks with two bottle green bands.
  • Plain black leather shoes with laces(medium or broad toe).
  • White canvas shoes for P.T.
  • Turbans if worn, should be bottle green in colour.

Summer Uniform for Girls(Classes I-XII)

  • White half-sleeved shirt, with the school emblem on the shirt pocket.
  • White divided skirt till the knees.
  • Dark green school tie.
  • Bottle green belt with scholl emblem.
  • White socks with two bottle green bands.
  • Bottle green hair band/ribbon(as per individual's requirement)
  • Plain black leather shoes with laces(medium or broad toe).
  • White canvas shoes for P.T.
  • No fancy hair clips or jewllery allowed.

Winter Uniform for Boys/Girls(Nursery / Prep)

  • Red checked full sleeved shirt.
  • Grey pants with white red checks and stripes on the pocket.
  • Green sweater.
  • Red jacket with hood.
  • Grey socks with red bands.

Winter Uniform for Boys(Classes I-XII)

  • Bottle green Blazer(Single breast) with school emblem.
  • Grey straight regular trousers.
  • White full sleeved shirt(with proper collar)
  • Dark green school tie.
  • Bottle green belt with school emblem.
  • Grey socks with two green bands.
  • Plain black leather shoes with laces(medium toe).
  • White canvas shoes for P.T.
  • Jersy(bottle green) plain (no patterns allowed) V neck(sleeves optional).
  • P.S.: Turbans/Caps if worn, should be bottle green in colour.

Winter Uniform for Girls(Classes I-XII)

  • Bottle green blazer (Single breast with button on the opposite side) with school emblem,(compulsory for all classes).
  • Grey worsted skirt (as per pattern till the knees).
  • White full sleeved shirt (as per approved pattern).
  • Dark green school tie.
  • Bottle green belt with school emblem.
  • Grey socks/stockings with two green bands.
  • Bottle green hair band/ribbon (as per individual's requirement)
  • Plain black leather shoes with laces or straps(medium toe).
  • With canvas shoes for P.T.
  • Jersey(bottle green) plain (no patterns allowed) V neck (sleeves optional)
  • P.S.: No fancy hair clips or jewllery allowed.

Note:

  • Girls must wear the right length of skirts. The skirts must fall on/till the knees.
  • As long as a student is on the School Rolls, he/she must come to school in uniform.
