SKILL BASED EDUCATION

Skill based Education essentially refers to training which enables an individual to acquire skills alongside knowledge. Like any form of education or training, it is best if Skill based Education starts early in school. The appreciation for amassing skills alongside knowledge must be developed in the formative years. Hence, we have introduced Pottery and Stitching & Tailoring for the students because we strive to focus equally on knowledge and skills. It helps to induce a shift from ‘telling what I know’ to ‘showing what I can do’. The idea is to ‘demonstrate learning’ rather than ‘vocalize knowledge’.
