A self defence programme, dedicated to the safety, dignity, and self-reliance of women was organised at Delhi Public School, Hapur on October 06, 2025, under the Mission Shakti 5.0 campaign. Students showcased the practical training of self defence techniques that they have learnt so far. Ms. Shruti Singh (Block Development Officer, Hapur) and Ms. Aruna (Additional District Sports Officer) graced the event. Ms. Singh briefed students on the Mission Shakti initiative and highlighted the importance of the emergency helpline number 1090, encouraging girls to voice their concerns. She also urged them to recognize their inner strength and stay prepared for challenging situations. Principal Mrs. Meena Anand emphasized that such initiatives equip students to safeguard themselves in the times of need.
